Moonbase Capital is an investment firm. They needed a powerful marketing campaign to launch their new brand, raise awareness, and generate leads from investors who would want to invest in their funds and work with them.

BACKGROUND
Moonbase Capital invests in SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) through Search Funds, an innovative new asset class that combines the stability of Private Equity with the agility and diversification of Venture Capital, in order to yield more consistent returns to our investor, at a lower risk.
Raising awareness
THE CHALLENGE
Moonbase Capital were about to rebrand and relaunch their website when they came to us. They needed a marketing campaign to help them launch their new brand, raise awareness and generate some leads from investors and searchers who would want to invest in their funds/work with them. At that time, their brand equity was close to nothing and they really needed to generate a big buzz in their industry as the new up and coming fund to get involved with.
New brand launch on social media
THE WORK
Our strategy for Moonbase Capital including a social media launch of their new brand, writing valuable pieces of content (blogs, thought leadership pieces and a whitepaper) and running a LinkedIn outreach campaign to invite investors and searchers to the webinars we were going to host for them. We also used the content created to place them as though leaders and industry experts that should be listened to in the Search Funds space.

THE RESULTS
Content: We created 15 blogs/thought leadership pieces and one whitepaper which can all be used as part of the upcoming LinkedIn and email outreach to build trust and expertise with their newly acquired audience.
LinkedIn Outreach: We’ve generated of 1,206 LinkedIn new connections for the Moonbase Capital partners, all from investors, searchers or professionals involved in the Search Funds. This allowed to start conversations about investment in their funds and extend their network considerably with relevant contacts.
Webinar: We ran 2 very successful webinars for Moonbase (one had over 350 registrations and 130 attendees, the other, over 250 registrations and 120 attendees), which was great for Moonbase in terms of brand awareness, brand credibility as well as lead generation.
