Avado was asked to deliver a learning solution to a multinational firm and they needed more data. We were brought in to paint the digital landscape of, well, pretty much the whole planet.

BACKGROUND

Avado is a global learning provider, specialising in the creation of high-impact programmes from a mix of learning experiences.

Avado believes in unlocking potential and changing lives. Through their connected learning experiences in Data, Marketing, People, Technology and Finance, they support organisations in developing and embedding the capabilities needed to be successful in a rapidly changing world.

THE CHALLENGE

Avado approached us in 2020 with a request to carry out market research for an immense digital transformation project for a multinational business, assisting them in becoming more digitally minded.

The challenge lay in the sheer magnitude of the project. Data, information and procedures would be needed to be gathered from all corners of the globe, including North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. These resources would describe the digital trends and digital landscape in each region and would be crucial for the success of these courses.

With the COVID-19 pandemic spreading rapidly, many businesses were making improved digital operations their number 1 priority. There was no time to waste.

THE WORK

The project was divided into different series to cater to the needs of a diverse and multifunctional audience. We were asked to provide market research over the course of 2 months. During that time, we concentrated on:

  • The new digital marketing landscape
  • eCommerce digital marketing
  • Data in business
  • Product personalisation
  • Digital creative

Through our market research, we presented a high number of relevant, up-to-date statistics and reports, combined with practical examples and real-world scenarios. This gave Avado the ability to create courses that were not just evidence-based but had memorable, relatable stories to help their clients better understand what it takes to thrive in the digital marketing world today.

THE RESULTS

Our comprehensive deep dive into digital marketing and eCommerce across 5 continents supported Avado in creating a large-scale global learning programme.

During this 2-month project, we:

  • Researched 130 academic and industry press articles
  • Produced 40 statistical pieces of information
  • Created 20 slides for 3 eLearning material components and presentations

Avado were happy to tell us that their courses were well received and were impressed not only by the level of data gained in a relatively short amount of time but how it was presented in a digestible, easy-to-interpret manner.
